Reminders and Rainy Dismissal
Dear Catechists,
I hope you had a wonderful first week of class! Here are some reminders and notes for rainy dismissal:

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your class.

Students should not enter the classrooms if there is not an adult in the class.

Pick up your folder from Room 101.

Turn on the walkie-talkie in your classroom to channel 3. This is how I will communicate with all the classrooms for the final prayer, dismissal, and emergencies.

There is a prayer box and a pencil box in the closet in the middle of the classrooms. Please feel free to use them. If you need additional materials, please let us know by email at least one workday in advance so that we can have them ready for you.
At the End of Class:

Please erase the whiteboard if you used it.

Make sure all desks are put back in the same formation they were found in.

Make sure the walkie-talkies are back in their chargers.

Lock the back door.

Keep the light on.
I will call on the walkie-talkies to give you a 10-minute warning before class ends. Five minutes before the class ends, we will do the closing prayer. Please let me know if you would like your class to do the closing prayer.
Rainy Dismissal:
We will be trying something different for rainy dismissal this year. After the closing prayer, please keep the children in your classroom.
We will call the children on the walkie-talkies one at a time. When we call a child's name, please dismiss them from your classroom. The child should come through the awning and through Maria Hall, where we will walk them to their cars.
