Family must be registered at MHOC or live within our boundaries or desire to become members of the parish –register and participate.2. Attend baptism class if not have previously done so. Godparents are not required to attend this class. Classes are usually the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30.3. Baptisms should be scheduled at least four weeks prior to the date of baptism. It is best to wait until after the child is born to make arrangements though not necessary.4. Baptisms are Sundays at 1:30 p.m. The last Sunday of the month is reserved for baptisms in the Spanish language. There should be no more than 6 baptisms per Sunday.5. By Church Law one of the sponsors at Baptism is to be a practicing Catholic, the other sponsor may be of another Christian denomination. The Catholic sponsor(s) need a sponsor certificate from their parish that they do practice the faith. They do not need certificates if they are members of our parish.6. The yellow form is the information we need to fill in the baptism register. Kindly print the information and respective names clearly. If you wish a child’s middle name on the certificate, please make sure it is written down on the form.
